00:23let's start it and insert a USB flash

00:41Microsoft website a small little program
00:44and that program will generate an ISO

01:06legacy mode then the hard drive onto

01:12one will be master boot record and
01:15windows will be in that master boot
01:18record mode also if you create the USB
01:21flash drive in the GPT mode and install
01:23Windows from the flash drive then the
01:26entire windows will have certain
01:28limitations it will use the GPT mode GPT
01:33partition scheme for the C Drive but you
01:37also have to set up a BIOS to boot from
01:40GPT partitions and in that case you
01:44don't use BIOS but you use UEFI mode so
01:48that has to be set up in BIOS if you use
01:52MBR then you have to use in BIOS in the
01:55legacy mode ok so let's see this current
01:59Windows is installed in which mode to
02:03check it just right click the start
02:05button go to run and type in MS
02:08in 432 msinfo32 and here on the first
02:14page at bios mode it says it's in legacy
02:19mode the legacy mode has less
02:21limitations than ufi mode UEFI mode for
02:25example will not allow this program
02:28which is called easy BCD it will not
02:30allow this one to boot from ISO files
02:34for example okay so currently you had to
02:38add new entry and so this one is not
02:41grayed out
02:42you can browse on your computer for ISO
02:45files if windows was installed in the
02:48other way then this portion will be
02:50totally disabled ok and let's talk about
02:54another interesting and important fact
02:57the file explorer right-click this PC
03:00and go to manage and after manage come
03:04here to disk management and that MBR
03:07versus GPT brings us to another question
03:11if you have your windows installed in
03:14MBR mode which is this hard drive my
03:18windows is also installed in MBR mode
03:20and if you go here to properties and
03:23volumes you can see that is in Master
03:27Boot Record that is MBR that entire hard
03:30drive is in that mode but you can still
03:33create GPT partitions which are
03:36necessary for hard drives which are
03:39larger than 2 terabytes which is this
03:42one it's 3 terabytes so if I right-click
03:44on that one and properties and volumes
03:47this one cannot be MBR but instead it
03:51has to be GPT if it would be MBR then
03:55instead of the 3 terabytes it should see
03:58only around 2 terabytes so the rest of
04:02the 1 terabyte would not be visible okay
04:05so MBR are where's that one MBR is more
04:10compatible ufi or GPT is more limiting
04:15so if you choose MBR you can create the
04:19GPT partitions also but if you use
04:23GPT you cannot create MBR partitions and
04:26for example easy BCD will have limited
04:30functions ok enough talking so better
04:34use MBR and just click on start your USB
04:38flash drive will be formatted so back
04:40off any information that you have on it
04:43and then click on start and that's it
04:46the flash drive have been master boot
