00:33windows icon click settings

00:36sound scroll down to where it says app
00:39volume and device preferences and where

00:43change that to where it says voice meter

00:46need first thing you want to go up to
00:48where this will say hardware input 1. i
00:51want to go ahead and change that to your
00:52headset microphone for me that'll be
00:55valve valve vr hmd mic it'll say that i
00:58click that that's okay and you want to
01:00go ahead and go down here leave this and
01:01make sure b1 b2 and v3 are all green
01:05leave these alone unless you have other
01:07mics that you want to use um here's your
01:09spotify right under voicemeeter vaio and
01:12right there spotify and then when you
01:13play music through it that'll go through
01:15your mic um voicemeeter aux you don't
01:17have to worry about that v803 leave that
01:19alone for now hardware out that's where
01:22you want to check your like your headset
01:24audio so for me that is
01:27index hmd so it's the same audio for the
01:30headset and make sure you click that on
01:32a1 because that's where your mic is is
01:35in the first slot if you notice there's
01:36five here five here perfect click that
01:40okay
01:41now what you want to do is you want to
01:43go down here to where it says index hmd
01:46or whatever audio
01:48and then you want to click that where it
01:49says voicemeeter aux input that'll
01:51change all of your audio to go through
01:53this program and then through your
01:55headset so you can hear your games like
01:57steam
01:58like your steam games vr10 you can still
02:00hear people talking and you'll talk at
02:02the same time so that way your spotify
02:04and your steam are in different channels
02:06you don't have to worry about uh echo
02:08now what you want to do is you want to
02:09go ahead and open up vr chat so once
02:11you're in vr chat it's literally as easy
02:13as clicking escape if you're on desktop
02:15or opening up your settings if you're in
02:17vr and go ahead and click on the
02:19settings cog over here click the little
02:21expand thing and where your microphone
02:23is you want to change that
02:25voice meter aux output and you'll see
02:28it's moving because i'm talking in the
02:29headset's picking that up but also if
02:31you play music it'll pick that up as
02:32well and there you go that's how you set
