00:00remarkable three is a software upgrade
00:03that remarkable have pushed out and will
00:05be pushing out over the next couple of
00:08weeks it is one of the biggest changes
00:11to the platform and takes a lot more
00:14against Amazon Kindle scribe that is
00:17currently available on the market today
00:19we're going to overview what remarkable
00:21three is and how it will impact you
00:24whether you are looking for a remarkable
00:26device or whether you're somebody that
00:28uses one right now so before we begin
00:31please do check out and subscribe to
00:33keep productive you can find it linked
00:35below we've got loads of different
00:36remarkable videos which you can find in
00:39the link in description and we've got a
00:41brand new planner that we've launched
00:43that allows you to use it interactively
00:46on your remarkable or Kindle scribe
00:48device so remarkable 3 is a software
00:52Improvement and upgrade that remarkable
00:55actually started to talk about in
00:57September of this year of the previous
00:59year sorry and in 2023 they're really
01:02looking to make it and make it much more
01:05Forefront so for those who don't know
01:07remarkable introduce connect a while ago
01:10and this was there basically their
01:12software Subscription Service which gave
01:14you premium access to the cloud and to a
01:18wide variety of features exclusive to
01:21the remarkable devices and essentially
01:23they're just extending this experience
01:25previously priced at 7.99 it's now down
01:29to 299 and presents a much more open
01:32option for those who don't even have
01:35remarkable devices so essentially what
01:37does this connect do what really
01:39optimizes the remarkable 3.0 update by
01:43introducing the ability to take desktop
01:46and mobile and notes and it's very weird
01:49to say that because what you can do is
01:52log into the desktop and the mobile
01:54versions and start typing away on these
01:57notes but alongside all of the piece
01:59pieces of the visuals that you've made
02:02in your remarkable paper tablet now this
02:06is really nice because a lot of people
02:08wanted to see the ability to utilize
02:10text but find it difficult to do it on
02:13the remarkable device and especially
02:14being able to capture on the go can be
02:16quite a useful thing when you're
02:18bringing stuff together so you can now
02:21do this in the 3.0 version by even
02:23typing away on the device and also in
02:25the beta versions right now in desktop
02:28and mobile now they've included a few
02:30other impressive improvements to their
02:33software side of stuff by introducing
02:36better handwriting conversion and also
02:39producing better performance it upgrades
02:42as well and most notably they've
02:45increased the vertical scrolling
02:47abilities as well but this ability to be
02:50able to write notes on your desktop and
02:53mobile is quite considerable and I'm
02:56reason why I think they are calling this
02:58the 3.0 update is because it definitely
03:01introduces a new layer to the remarkable
03:03that many of the other applications
03:05aren't even catching up on now to be
03:08honest when comparing this remarkable 2
03:10against the Kindle scribe as I mentioned
03:13one of the core things was the
03:16experience with the software software is
03:18something that you can fairly easily
03:20upgrade so the Kindle scribe will likely
03:22come after this in a bit more of an
03:24aggressive fashion in the next couple of
03:26months but remarkable are not only one
03:29update not only two updates but with
03:31this third version three updates ahead
03:34of where I think the Kindle scribe could
03:36be so they've got to do a lot of
03:38catching up to make the quality that the
03:41remarkable three now offers in their
03:44core experience if you want to be able
03:46to type notes while you're using your
03:48paper tablet and also take advantage of
03:51better screen sharing abilities and all
03:53the connect offers the remarkable
03:55platform is a decent upgrade and the 3.0
03:59release is something thing that is most
04:01impressive again I was very saddened to
04:03hear that they won't be releasing a 3.0
04:06anytime too soon in a paper tablet
04:08version as I do love the design and
04:10visuals of the current one but it is
04:13definitely a much needed upgrade that
04:15will take the new remarkable tablets to
04:17the next level anyway folks hopefully
04:19you found this video useful and all our
04:21current videos on the remarkable 2
04:23versus kind describe our Kindle
04:25subscribe video and our new Daily Planet
04:27so do make sure to check them out in the
04:29link description if you have not but the
04:31remarkable 3.0 update is a very
04:34interesting one and one that as a daily
04:36user of the remarkable tablet I'm really
04:38enjoying thank you very much folks and I
04:40hope you enjoyed today's feature of
04:42getting a bit of an introspective look
04:45at the remarkable three updates and I
04:48hope to see you in a future video thank
