changing as they can be,
00:04they can also be very expensive,
00:06like really expensive.
00:08I saw a great YouTube video recently
00:10showcasing the best AI apps out there.
00:12So I priced up how much a subscription
00:14to each of them would cost,
00:15and I found that if you bought
all of their cheapest plans,
00:18it would still cost you over $200 a month.
00:22Ouch.
00:23So I decided to spend a few weeks
00:25testing out all of the free
apps that I could find.
00:28And I don't mean AI apps that
have a limited free trial
00:31with limited amounts of credits.
00:33I mean free AI apps that
have a free plan forever.
00:37It took a long time.
00:39I managed to find 108 of them,
00:41and these were my favorites.
00:43App one, Immerse,
00:44a free AI image search engine.
00:46So here is how I use Immerse.
00:49Let's say I'm browsing Etsy
00:50and I see that surfing
posters are popular,
00:52which inspires me to make my
own surfing poster to sell.
00:56Well, I'd save one of
the popular poster images
00:58and upload it into Immerse.
01:00Now it's gonna search the
internet and uses AI technology
01:03to find similar but different free images
01:05with royalty free licenses
01:07that I'm allowed to download
and use in my own poster.
01:10Easy.
01:11App two, ToonTap, a free
AI cartoon filter app.
01:15This is just a simple AI phone app
01:17that turns photo portraits
into incredible cartoons,
01:20such as turning photos of you
into a Disney Pixar character.
01:23Outside of being fun,
01:24there are lots of helpful uses for this.
01:27For example, cartoon portraits have
01:29really high click through rates
01:30when used in thumbnails on YouTube.
01:33And just a quick note on ToonTap as well.
01:35When you register, they
do make you sign up
01:37for a free trial to their pro account.
01:39Just cancel it and you'll get moved
01:41into their free account with ads.
01:43I also tried out these other free apps
01:45if you wanna give them a go
01:46and see if you prefer their results.
01:48App three, WatermarkRemover.io,
01:50a free watermark remover app.
01:52So one of the disadvantages
of free AI image apps
01:56is that they often give you
a picture with a watermark.
01:59like this free image I downloaded
02:01while testing out one of the
other cartoon apps, ToonMe.
02:04Well, I just uploaded it
to WatermarkRemover.io
02:07and I was able to remove
the watermark for free.
02:10Super easy.
02:11You can also try out the other free apps
02:13that I tried out too.
02:14App four, Lumen5,
02:16a free text-to-video editor.
02:18So you've probably seen these before.
02:20You upload a video script,
02:21and then the app will use it
to generate a video for you
02:24by combining free stock videos with text,
02:26and you can also edit and tweak it,
02:28such as switching out, and
picking new video clips,
02:31and changing out the music,
02:32and changing out how
the video scenes look.
02:35Plus, you can make mobile videos
and full screen videos too.
02:39I really like the fact that Lumen5
02:41lets you make unlimited free videos,
02:43but you might also wanna check out
02:45these other free apps as well.
02:46App five, Canva,
02:48a free AI photo editing app.
02:50All right, so spoiler alert,
02:52long-term subscribers know
I absolutely love Canva.
02:55I use it for a lot more
than just photo editing,
02:58but my biases aside,
03:00I truly believe that it's
the best free AI app for it.
03:03Using their AI technology,
with the click of a button
03:06you could turn any photo into
different styles of artwork,
03:09and you can also apply a huge range
03:11of different photo filters,
03:12and you can also use their AI technology
03:14to enhance your photos too.
03:16But here is where it gets really crazy.
03:19Using a new Magic Eraser tool,
03:20you can paint over anything
03:22that you want to remove in a photo,
03:23and Canva's AI will edit it out.
03:26and using their new Magic Edit tool
03:28you can paint over anything in a photo
03:30and ask the Canva AI to
replace it with a new image.
03:34It's insane that these
are included currently
03:36in their free account.
03:38You can also try out these
other AI photo editing apps
03:41to see which one that
you personally prefer.
03:43App six, Erase.bg, a free
AI background remover.
03:47Now, here's the thing,
while Canva does have
03:49a really great AI background remover tool,
03:52it is sadly not included
in their free account,
03:55but that's okay because
you can just use a Erase.bg
03:57to remove it for you, and
then download the file
04:00in the same resolution
that you uploaded it in.
04:02I love that they didn't
require me to sign up
04:05while also giving me such a
great edit in high resolution.
04:08But, I'll be honest,
04:09each app gave me very different results.
04:11So I highly recommend trying
out all of the free apps
04:14and seeing which one you
prefer the results for.
04:17App seven, ClipChamp, a
free automatic video editor.
04:21ClipChamp is a free video editing app
04:22that has an automatic video editor.
04:25You drop in the video files
04:26and choose what type of
video you want it to make.
04:28You can choose to make a mobile
video or a full screen video
04:31and select your music.
04:32ClipChamp will then automatically generate
04:34a video montage for you.
04:36Clip Champ also has a range
of different video filters
04:39that it can apply with its AI technology.
04:41Plus, it can also use its
AI to remove the background
04:44of a video for you.
04:45And its AI technology can even
auto-generate video captions,
04:49which does save a lot of time.
04:51You can also check out these other free
04:52AI-powered video apps that I tried out,
04:55and see which one has the filters
04:57and the special features
that you like the most.
04:59App eight, Character.ai,
a free AI chat app.
05:03So Character.ai has a lot
of different characters
05:05that you can talk to,
05:06including celebrities like Elon Musk
05:08and made up characters like Mario.
05:10Probably the two most
popular ways to use it though
05:13is to firstly use it as an assistant.
05:16Yes, you can use ChatGPT to do that,
05:18but on Character.ai,
05:20you can have an assistant that
both answers your questions
05:22and does so in a chatty way,
05:24almost as though you had
someone next to you helping you.
05:28But the second way that
people like to use it
05:30is to use it as a free therapist.
05:31I was pretty amazed at
how not only could you
05:33ask the AI therapist questions,
05:35but they would ask you questions back.
05:37Just like real life therapy,
05:39except unlike real life
therapy, this one was free.
05:42These were the other ones
that I also tried out.
05:45A lot of them specialized in
a particular type of thing.
05:47Some specialize in companionship,
05:49while some specialize in
just making you laugh.
05:52App nine, Stable Diffusion,
a free AI art app.
05:55Stable Diffusion is
easily my favorite free
05:58AI art app out there.
06:00It's incredible.
06:02However, to use it,
you have to install it.
06:04You can use your own computer
if it's powerful enough
06:06or you can install it on
something like Google Colab.
06:09And I'll be honest, installing
it is a technical process.
06:12I highly recommend following
a free YouTube tutorial video
06:16that simplifies the installation process.
06:18But if you don't wanna have
to go through that process,
06:20I understand.
06:21I would recommend then using Blue Willow.
06:24It's very similar to Mid Journey.
06:25it just plugs into Discord for free.
06:27But I'll be honest,
06:28even though Stable
Diffusion and Blue Willow
06:31are very powerful,
06:32Midjourney is still easily the best app
06:34for creating artwork to sell.
06:36If you'd like to learn

06:47App 10, Replicate, a free image upscaler.
06:50So one of the downsides
06:51of using stable diffusion
generated pictures as a print
06:55is that the resolution is too low,
06:57which is why I used Replicate,
06:59which can increase the
resolution of an image for free.
07:01The AI technology will resize
it using its intelligence
07:05to add an extra pixels to upscale it
07:07without reducing the quality.
07:09And so now if I were to print it,
07:11it would print a high
resolution, which is very cool.
07:14Do keep in mind though
07:15that every time you use
an AI image up scaler,
07:17it does have the potential
to create image glitches,
07:20which is why you might
also wanna check out
07:22these other free ones to
see which one gives you
07:24the results that you prefer.
07:26App 11, BrandCrowd, a
free brand name generator.
07:29Whether you're starting a new business
07:31or a new YouTube channel,
07:32coming up with a brand name can be hard,
07:35but you can just describe to BrandCrowd
07:37what your brand will be about,
07:38and it will use its AI technology
07:40to generate a bunch of names for you.
07:42You can also try out the
other ones that I tried.
07:45I noticed that some of
them use keywords instead
07:47to generate brand names.
07:48It's really just a personal preference
07:50which one you prefer.
07:51App 12, BigSpeak AI, a
free text-to-speech app.
07:55BigSpeak AI is simple.
07:57With a free account, you can
type in up to 8,000 characters
08:00and then choose a male or female voice,
08:02and it will generate it
as an AI voiceover for you
08:05that you can download for free.
08:06And the male voice it
generates actually reminds me
08:08a lot of the AI voiceover
08:10that this successful
YouTube shorts channel
08:12uses for their videos.
08:14But I'll be honest, I
was a bit disappointed
08:16in what was available for
free AI voiceover apps.
08:19MicMonster did have more voices available,
08:22but they limit you to 300
characters each time you use it.
08:26So depending on your needs,
you might prefer that.
08:30App, 13, DeepAI, a free
AI image restoration app.
08:34So using this app, you can upload
08:36old black and white photos that you have,
08:38and DeepAI will add color
to it for you for free.
08:41No signup required.
08:43You can also use their enhance tool
08:44which will remaster the photo as well.
08:46And check it out.
08:47This is a black and white
photo next to a restored photo.
08:50I think it's astonishing that
this is now free technology.
08:53And you can also try these other free apps
08:55that I used as well.
08:57They each recolored photos
slightly differently
09:00so you might wanna check them all out
09:01and see which one you prefer.
09:03App 14 TinEye, a free
reverse image search engine.
09:06So if you are a longtime subscriber,
09:08you will know that I
absolutely love TinEye.
09:11and the way I use it is simple.
09:13So let's say I found a poster on Etsy
09:15that was popular with customers.
09:17Well, what I would do
09:18is I would save and download that picture,
09:20and then I'd re-upload it to TinEye.
09:22Now TinEye will use its AI
technology to find other websites
09:25where this picture has been uploaded to,
09:27and you can also search
for specific websites
09:29to see if it's been uploaded to it.
09:30And doing that, I was able to find
09:32that this picture originally
came from PixaBay,
09:35and it's a public domain photo that I too
09:38would be able to use
and potentially resell.
09:40There are lots of other apps out there
09:42that do this too really well.
09:44It's really just down to
which interface you prefer.
09:46App 15 ChatGPT, the best free copywriter.
09:50Look, I know that ChatGPT
needs no introduction.
09:53It is the AI app that changed the world.
09:56If you've somehow never seen this before,
09:58you just open it up and
ask it to write to you
10:00anything you want about any topic.
10:02That's it.
10:03It's insane.
10:05And yes, you can pay to upgrade,
10:07and that is a good investment.
10:08But all things considered, the
free version is still insane,
10:11and it is insane that it's still free,
10:14and I don't believe it's gonna stay free.
10:16So you should get it while you can.
10:17And when you can no
longer get it for free,
10:20you should try these other apps instead.

10:41It's so simple, honestly.
10:42You just paste into the app
a paragraph of information
10:45and Fillout's AI will analyze the text
10:48and then generate a quiz from it
10:49and host it on their website.
10:51You don't have to come up
with the questions yourself.
10:53You can then just share the
quiz and people can take it.
10:55And you can also customize your quiz.
10:58You can change its layout
10:59and add in different widgets
and modify its design for free.
11:02Businesses sometimes use these quizzes
11:04as a form of lead generation.
11:05And obviously, it's great
for teachers and tutors.
11:08And you can also try out
these other quiz makers too.
11:11App 17, AI Text Classifier,
a free AI checker.
11:15Ah yes, we now have AI checking
11:18whether things are created by AI.
11:20How very meta.
11:21But yes, AI Text Classifier is
a free AI checker by OpenAI.
11:26I pasted into it some of my script
11:28I had personally written for this video.
11:30And yep, it knew it was
likely written by a human.
11:34It's very accurate.
11:35The biggest downside to it though
11:37is that it requires a
thousand characters at least,
11:39which is about 150 to
250 words on average.
11:43So you might prefer these
other AI checkers instead.
11:46App 18, Grammar Checker,
a free AI proofreader.
11:50I really liked how easy this was to use.
11:52You just paste in some text,
11:53and the proofreading app will then do
11:55a grammar and spelling check for you,
11:57and it'll fix any errors.
11:58And you can also paste the
text into the paraphrasing tool
12:01and it will take the text
and massively reduce it down
12:03to a much smaller amount of text
12:06without removing any information.
12:08And the summarizing tool
can also very quickly
12:10generate bullet points from text as well.
12:12The biggest downside though was that
12:13every single app I checked
had a character or word limit,
12:17so I recommend just
registering for them all.
12:20App 19, Let's Foodie, a
free recipe generator.
12:24It's super simple.
12:25You just type in the ingredients you have
12:26lying around your kitchen
or that you want to use up,
12:29and it will generate a
personalized recipe for you to try.
12:32It's a really great way to
use up random leftover food
12:35that you have in your fridge.
12:36And you can also try out
12:37these other recipe generators as well
12:39to see which one makes the
food that you like the most.
12:42App 20, Soundful, a
free AI music generator.
12:46It's honestly super easy.
12:47You just create a free account
12:49and then pick a genre of music.
12:50Soundful will generate a song for you.
12:52If you don't like it,
12:53you can just click to create a new preview
12:55and now a new song will be generated.
12:58And once you have a song that you like,
13:00you can make changes to it,
13:01such as slowing it down
or speeding up the beat.
13:03Soundful has, in my opinion,
13:05the best free license right
now for content creators,
13:09which is why they won for me.
13:10And you can try these
other free ones as well.
13:12Just be sure to check the licensing roles
13:15for their free accounts.
13:16Now, I personally think
that it's absolutely insane
13:19that we can generate new music now
13:21with the click of a button.
13:23AI technology is just
absolutely life-changing.
